As an important measurement of missile-weapon electronics systems,telemetry system has made great contribution to our nation defense.Comparing to the advanced telemetry systems like Europe and American,there also have a long way for us to keep up with their techniques.PCM transmitter is the most important Part for telemetry system and its level influences the development of the hole system.From the use,the realization of miniaturization and high-code-rate property are the key task in developing PCM transmitter.In the paper, we discuss the transmitter and advance a final solution. The system has some notable advantages such as miniaturization, low power consumption and high efficiency.At first, we introduce the progress in the field of telemetry over the world,emphasize the importance of wireless transceiver system, and point out the direction of future telemetry transmitter. Later some techniques about PLL and frequency synthesizer are researched in detail with showing the phase model and transmission function, and analyzing their main performance. And then the technique about FM locked in phase based on frequency synthesizer is elicited. The advantages are shown after uncovering its theory.In the last of this paper,the author analysis the circuit,hardware and software realization of High-code-rate PCM transmitter with quasi two-point injection techniques.Through the research on the design of high-code-rate PCM transmitter,the author masters the fundamental design method and procedure of PCM transmitter,these technical ability are the primary skills needed for a PCM transmitter designer.
