Print journalists play a more and more important role in the media. However,the issue of their job burnout increasingly become an obstacle to the constructionof a harmonious relationship between the government and the public.Standingon the perspective of public management and starting from the relationship among thegovernment,the public and the media, the dissertation will highlight the importanceof print journalist groups, and at the same time, emphasize and analyze a series ofplights that print journalists are confronting at present time and the internaland external factors that lead to their job burnout. Eventually, the final solutionswill be explored on the basis of our analysis.Although over the years,the job burnout and the formation of a unified definition,public opinions are divergent.This paper thinks,job burnout is fatigue,fatigue persondue to long-term work pressure not to relieve the mental and physical.Under thecurrent background,traditional media by the huge impact of network media,newmedia,new media has an absolute advantage in many aspects,outstanding performanceis spread fast,wide coverage.Print as traditional media,must foster strengths andcircumvent weaknesses,continuous innovation to compete,and new media.Theattendant pressure print reporter: first in physical strength,in order to be able to feelthe interview in the first time,to obtain first-hand information,print journalists must bea day are minute,run around here and there,and some even travel frequently,facing thegreat physical strength test;secondly,in the psychological,a lot of event to there porteris negative,shocking experience,such as earthquakes,war,the negative effect of theevent itself is easy to spread to the reporter,psychological problems makes this groupor light or heavy;finally,in the safety and security of our mind,lack of personalsecurity mechanism,many reporters will face a person attack,or an interview after takerevenge,will let reporters extreme lack a sense of security.Thus,in a variety offactors,the reporter will appear burnout problem be not at all surprising.Job burnout has a form very much in your daily work. In this paper, variousperformance for combing print reporter burnout problem better, especially the development of the special questionnaire, in a newspaper from156media reporters asthe research object, a total of156questionnaires were issued,153were recovered.Through the survey found, print journalist job burnout mainly displays in: the declineof work enthusiasm and the work efficiency, decrease the innovation ability, socialresponsibility, reduce, role dislocation, ethics etc.In this thesis, using different research methods of investigative method, literature method, data and statistical analysis method, the dissertation will try to analyze and study the research object elaborately, definitely and effectively. Starting from the analysis of concepts of paper media, journalists and job burnout and other related concepts, combining statistical result of questionnaire, the dissertation willanalyze profoundly meaning of job burnout and sort out comprehensively plights print journalists are confronting. Eventually, We put forward solutions accordingly. A group of positive, physically and mentally healthy, optimistic and enterprising print journalists will be constructed through some measures, such as mentally healthy training, construction of regulation and system, organization management, personal security, encouragement and reward.
