Release System Based On Pro/E For Process Planning Of3D Model

With the rapid development of economic globalization and the universalapplication of virtual prototype technology in manufacturing enterprises, thedisadvantages of conventional product document release method such as poorcooperative ability, low update frequency, long production cycle, low visual level areattracting more and more attention. Based on the integrated publishing system ofproduct design results in Pro/E (3D Manual), the study which is Release System Basedon Pro/E for Process Planning of3D model is conducted.In this paper, the demands of Release System Based on Pro/E for ProcessPlanning of3D model were investigated after the accomplishment of product designand the disadvantages and limitations of the existing software system were pointed out.Then the general design scheme of Release System Based on Pro/E for ProcessPlanning of3D model was put forward, which includes the system design goal, designprinciple, working process and development process. Based on C++Builder, Pro/E,ProeServer, PowerPoint and ProductView, the key technology of system construction,including application-oriented view management development technology and processplanning development technology, was proposed. After the top design of the system,the system of interface and relevant technology was studied. The study of thesetechnologies promotes the integration level between3D Manual and Pro/E. With theaid of the system, information of component model and process planning can bereleased independent from initial Pro/E environment and the real-time interaction of3D model is greatly enhanced eventually.
