Because mineral wool has a good insulation effect and can not burn, it has been usedincreasingly in the building insulation industry. But its production conditions are demanding,its control process is multifarious.The cupola as its melting equipment is widely used atpresent domestic, this device control difficulty, serious environmental pollution, largeenergy consumption, seriously restricted the development of mineral wool industry.This topic, using the production of mineral wool process with short flow process,induction heating furnace as the main equipment of producing mineral wool, to realizeautomation control, and achieve the effect of energy conservation and environmentalprotection. Production line electrical control system uses an S7-315-2DP PLC as a masterclass and coordinated control of the entire production line. Multiple S7-200PLC live as aslave class that is responsible for collecting field data, and control specific tasks.Production line designed a hybrid network control structure based on fieldbus andIndustrial Ethernet. Control level and field level via fieldbus connection via IndustrialEthernet connection between the control level and the IPC, WinCC configuration softwarerunning on the IPC. This production line, the main controlled object is the inductionfurnace, there are two major induction heating control system and hydraulic control system,PLC communication through the free port to achieve the control and induction heatingequipment, digital filtering techniques and PID technology are employed to control thetemperature. By applying the actual mineral wool production line with the proposedmothod, experiment results verify the reliability and practical of the control system.
