Automatic assembly line to the detonator has higher requirements for its accuracy,reliability and safety, and it should decrease the participation of artificial link as far aspossible in the process of production. This paper follow this principle, mainly frommechanical structure design, electrical control and configuration monitoring to studyand research the detonator automatic assembly line.In the production line of the mechanical structure parts, for some typical structure,introduces the work principle and design thought, including mold transfer institutions,respectively mold institutions, sending medicine points manipulator, charginginstitutions and pressure medicine institution. For safety, the system mainly uses thecylinder as production line of action of actuators.The electrical control part adopts a S7-300PLC and many sets of S7-200PLC tocomplete the whole production line of automatic control.S7-300PLC as the centre ofthe control system, it is mainly in charge of production management and parts ofpressure medicine process, and communicate with S7-200PLC; S7-200PLC is mainlyin charge of sending, mold transfer, charging, pressure powder, and measuring thepowder higher. S7-200PLC program were packaged up separately, became differentprocesses piece which can realize different function, S7-300PLC will call thesefunction blocks when the technological required, and make the whole productionprocess in an orderly way.Force control configuration software as the whole system of the PC is responsiblefor supervision and management the production line, The production line each workingprocedure was completed in software, it also completed monitoring system databaseconfiguration, animation connection and scripts. All the signals were stored in theS7-300PLC “M” storage area to communicated with each other. PC and interface layercommunicated using MPI communication agreement, realize the whole production linemonitoring and management.
