Abstract:In2011, gamification was raised as a new word, which simply means to use the gaming thoughts and mechanisms into the non-game fields, thus guiding user interaction and their use. It’s fun, interaction and inspiration will impact the users’psychological preference in use, stimulate the user action and bring in satisfaction. As an effective way to guide users’deep interaction and improve user experience, gamification design has been widely highlighted in the UI design for the Internet users both at home and abroad in recent years.With the coming of an IT age and under the all-aspect impact Internet, people have strong demand to gourmet websites. At the WEB2.0mode, gourmet website has shown a community development trend. Compared traditional websites, user-to-user and user-to-website interaction are more preferred. However, analysis to the design status quo of existing gourmet community websites in China has found space for improvement in the user experience, user interaction and fun, leaving unsatisfied emotional demand of the user.This article aims at improving the user experience and interaction of gourmet community website, starting from "gamification design", and performs the gamification design on the basis of traditional gourmet websites. The concept of gamification design is used throughout the entire design, and finally virtualized. Efforts are made to mingle the fun, inspiration and interaction of gamification design with gourmet community website through design practices, thus improving user experience, helping them better and more happily use the gourmet website to finally realize user stickiness and maintaining a stable user pool.
