In the daily operation of the computer, program is running by the basic structureof Von Neumann, according to the order of the fetching, decoding, analysis andexecution with the serial operation of the macro and the parallel execution of themicro. Although this structure is widely used and more mature, instruction executionspeed is relatively slow with the advent of complex application software,increasingly unable to meet the needs of large-scale application software. In order tomeet the speed requirements, instructions for the computer has done someoptimization and improvement, such as from a set of complex instructions to changeto the reduced instruction set, improving the use of CPU internal register rate,optimizing CPU internal parts, computer instruction set of the pipelined execution etc.These improvements have accelerated the execution speed of the instructions to acertain extent, but the improving about the execution of the instruction is still unableto meet the demand about the computer running speed of the complicated applicationsoftware. Instruction execution speed has become a bottleneck restricting the complexsoftware applications.With the rapid development of large-scale integrated circuits, fieldprogrammable gate array FPGA, greatly improves the speed of parallel execution oflogic operations, meeting the needs of the speed of the complex application softwareat a certain extent. But FPGA is widely used in all kinds of complex logic calculation,rather than for specific applications.This article has introduced the specific domain password authenticationapplication with using reconfigurable calculating particle set. In this application ofpassword, the password authentication of zip files are so common, because on theInternet the sum of the zip files encrypted are larger, and need to be known. Parts ofcontents of the encrypted files are due to be accessed. The correct password ofencrypted zip files need to be verified through the large dictionary set number.Although normal instruction execution can also be done by increasing investment of the resources of the server password authentication, the validation speed can’t meetthe need. By using reconfigurable calculating particle set in the field of passwordauthentication has reduced resource consumption that is reducing the instructionexecution of the number of servers, increasing the speed of verification about onehundred times, which shows the superiority in the field of the specific domain thatmeans using reconfigurable calculate particle set of the password authentication.
