With the rapid development of microelectronics and computer technology, especially the emergence of the large-scale and high-performance programmable devices, reconfiguration of circuitry at runtime has been become a new hot spot internationally gradually. It blurred the traditional sense of the boundaries of hardware and software in the past. The system has adaptive, self-organization and self-healing properties, especially in the strict security requirements of the aviation and aerospace fields, reconfigurable system has significant value and broad application prospects.This paper introduces the evolvable hardware structure based on FPGA. Specific tasks are as follows:Firstly, the evolution hardware and genetic algorithm are illustrated briefly, and then the key code and brief comment of the genetic algorithm is given, the chromosomes detected through the feedback information from FPGA are estimate, crossover and mutation, and finally selected the optimal solution. Secondly, the hardware platform based on Microcontroller and FPGA is introduced. Finally, the principle of the design are illustrated, the results of AND gate and OR gate through the unit design level are tested, and then the optimal solution produced by the genetic algorithm are downloaded to identify and analyze, and then give the better structure to counteract the instability of the expansion circuit.
