With the rapid development of modern communication technologies nowadays, traditional media such as newspapers, radio, television and the modern media Internet has developed quickly and played a strong social and ethical role in China, which thus arouses wide-spread ethical anomie and will finally bring many negative impacts to our ongoing construction of Harmonious Society. According to some relative theories at home and aboard and some relative sources and researches, this paper,will follow the guidance of the developing perspective of the Marxist dialectic with practical and realistic attitude, take different researching methods of investigation, content analysis, inducing and deducing and literature investigation, and will study some ethic anomie issues of modern media communication in China based on the discipline of ethics, with synthetic use of various academic fields such as the ethics, the journalism, the communication studies, the socialism, and at the end of the paper,the author will give out some academic and practical advice which can promote the media atmosphere in China hopefully will raise social awareness and concern to these media ethic anomie issues. The author divided this paper into following five parts:Part One:Introduction. This part mainly presents the significance of this thesis, the current research state, the purposes as well as the main content of this paper. Part Two:The features of media ethical anomie in China. This chapter discusses five main features in media ethical anomie and also explains each one’s definition and characteristics with some vividly and typical examples in Chinese news reporting at present. Part Three:The presentation and the causes of modern media ethical anomie in China, Part Four:This chapter analyzes its causes from the perspective of news and media function theories. Part Five:Discuss the possible coping strategies to ease the media ethical anomie in China.
