As a new mobile Internet era comes, Smart mobile terminal is the necessities of life,APP become the main carrier of the information transmation and services. Smart devicessuch as iPad and tablets are not only the children’s toys but also the main extracurricularlearning tools. Intellectual development change the educational mode, digital is the trendof the development of the school education and family education in the future. Thedevelopment potential of education sector with a large user base is tremendous. Thedevelopment of children education class APP market should not be ignored.This topic starts from the lower-grade pupils`extra-curricular leaning APP, throughthe analysis of the characteristics of pupils`physical and cognitive development, combinedwith excellent examples analysis to explore the interaction design principles, methods andideas of lower-grade pupils`extra-curricular leaning APP to promote the APP developmentprocess, eliminate the negative effect of digitization and to develop healthy digital learningliteracy. First of all, document analysis method and case study are used to research on thedevelopment of lower-grade pupils`extra-curricular leaning APP which is classified bysubject. Analysis method was used to research on lower-grade pupils`physical andcognitive characteristics and to make investigate factors analysis table. Qualitative analysismethods such as shadowing and user interviews are used to observe the behaviorperformance of lower-grade pupils`physiological and cognitive characteristics when usingextra-curricular leaning APP on the living environment and interview parents. Finallyformulated and issued survey questionnaire to parents`expectation and experience of theAPP. Proposed the lower-grade pupils`user-centered design idea of extra-curricularleaning APP. Summed up the lower-grade pupils`extra-curricular leaning APP interactiondesign principles including pertinency, educational, interesting, gameplay, simplicity andPrinciple. On account of every element of psychology and cognitive development theauthor put forward the specific methods of interaction design. The author summarize fourkinds of design patterns in the future including knowledge fun type, entertainment witheducation type, parent-child interactive type and selective focus type APP. Finally putforward three design goals the functional,practicality and emotional goals providingdirections for its development.Through the design practice, the author designed the APP hello! History which canhelp low-grade pupils to learn the knowledge of history and the learning process is full offun. The author used those design principles and methods in the actual design process.This design is to test all the interaction design theories which are put forward before.
