With the rapid development of the“Internet plus”national strategy,the development of internet education has been gradually rising.In 2017,The State Council issued the"Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" for the education career,pointing out that it is necessary to provide diversified educational products and services,vigorously promote educational informatization,and promote the development of "Internet+education" new formats.At the same time,the booming trend of the mobile internet is still strong.Up to the fourth quarter of 2017,the scale of China's mobile smart terminals reached 1.42 billion,and the proportion of terminal devices equipped with the Android system was as high as 87.2%.In this context,a large number of educational Android applications have emerged in the application market.However,the existing applications are mostly aimed at exam-oriented education and extracurricular tutoring.As an important part of modern education,extracurricular reading has not received enough attention from developers.Therefore,developing an extracurricular reading system based on Android smart terminal has important application value.This thesis starts with the development status of mobile reading,aiming at providing personalized,diversified and portable extracurricular reading services,and an extra-curricular reading system based on the Android operating system platform was designed and developed.The system has abundant reading resources,user-friendly interface,steady performance and complete functions.The purpose is to solve the problem that there is no extra-curricular reading application specifically designed for students in the field of mobile reading,and provide students with high-quality reading resources,in order to increase students' interest in extracurricular reading,and help them develop extracurricular reading activities better.This thesis firstly conducts a detailed investigation on the existing mobile reading applications,analyzes the implementation methods,functions,and contents of these applications in deatil,and summarizes their deficiencies.On this basis,first of all,a detailed study of the key technologies used in the development is researched deeply,including the use of Fragment and optimization,the use of Navigation Drawer control,RxJava technology,android-Ultra-Pull-To-Refresh pulls down refresh components and network communication and so on.Secondly,the system is analyzed and designed in detail.The system's overall architecture,client-side functions,UI design,and database and crawler modules are determined.Finally,under the support of detailed design schemes and related technologies,the development and implementation of the system was performed,technical testing was carried out on the system,including function test,memory leakage test,and Monkey pressure test.Based on the test results,the system was continuously improved,and an extracurricular reading system that met the design expectations was eventually developed.The extra-curricular reading system is based on the project and its sub-topics undertaken by Prof.Yuan Dongfeng's research group.After the on-line operation,it will bring great convenience to students' extra-curricular reading,meet the personalized reading needs of users,and make full use of users' fragmentation time.Increasing students' interest in extracurricular reading.The design and development of the system has great theoretical significance and practical value.
