The Impact Of The Television As A Media Environment

The thesis focuses on the study of the televisions which are used in the daily life and mainly elaborates the impact television media environment has on the local villagers according to the related theory of Communication and sociology through investigating a village of Wa ethnic group by using the method of ethnology and sorting out materials of the field.The thesis describes the close relationship between television and the daily life, family and work. What’s more, some extra functions of the television media are added and the situation the watching television is interrupted is described and analyzed. And then television media environment having the imperceptible influence is stressed, television media create a wholly new environment which includes not only the content but also the form of the media.
