Design And Yerification Of IEEE1394Bus Link Layer

IEEE1394owns upgradeable system of400Mb/stransmission rate.It simplifiesthe interconnected logic between peripherals and PC,itimplements theplug and play.Thebus each node can directly access information not interfered by host logical, it is thecurrent main bus, and has an absolute advantage inaudio, video, Internet real timecommunication.In the1394protocol architecture, the link layer is an essential logic layer, it cansupport the isochronous, asynchronous transfer service. It provides the requestresponse communication mechanism, dataretransmission function.It can carryout serial request acceleration and other functions, the link layer is a very importanttransport layer, it is the interface of ASL and physical layer.It reduce the use of CPUresources.This paper mainly designs the function module of the link layer,includingsending, receiving, inspection, master state machine, data strobe, cycle time, andrequest module. This paper mainly describe in detail for sending,receiving state jump.Finally, according to the link layer function,using the advanced verificationmethodology of UVM and verification language SV to build the simulationplatform, test results clarify the design of data link layer meet the practical needs ofcommunication with multi way and multiple dataformat, can play an important rolein military applications and daily life.
