The process of electroslag remelting smelting production and some iron and steelenterprise1ton protective atmosphere coaxial conductive single-stage electroslagremelting construction project is considered, based on the studies of general motors PLCas the core controller of the computer control system.This system adopts two levelstructure: PC control for industrial control computer and LCD screen, mainly for theproduction process monitoring, lower machine control using the American ge RX3i seriesPLC, used in the production process of signal acquisition, control, execution, etc. Allprocess control.PC and PLC adopts industrial Ethernet communication, inverter, PLC andfield control magnetic voltage regulator using Profibus field bus communication networkcommunication module connection.System PC ifixes configuration software developmentby using the human Machine interface screen, under a Machine adopts Proficy MachineEdition software development application control source program.For electroslagremelting control system is a nonlinear, time-varying multivariable, strong randomdisturbance of the system, and is not to determine the accurate mathematical model, thisarticle on the basis of taking traditional PID control, combined with the actual situation ofthe electroslag remelting metallurgy field, the artificial neural network intelligent PIDcontrol algorithm applied in the production of electroslag remelting was studied, andobtained the good simulation effect.
