The utilization of archives is one of the key subjects in the study ofarchives, while archival searchers are accounted for half of the country onthe study of utilization of archives. Therefore, this paper focused on therelated studies of archival users. Firstly, in order to reinforce thetheoretical foundation of this paper, I used literature analysis method, interdisciplinary analysis method and example analysis method to cardand study the existing research results of both domestic and abroad inarchival users. Secondly, this paper subdivided archival searchers intotwo parts-archival users and archival audiences and let them be the mainresearch object. Then, what they have communicated while usingarchives in “Cyberspace” is studied. Through the study and analysis oftheir definition, characteristics, psychology, communication channel andcommunication contents, we could find the difference between them incommunication requirement, communication channel preference (boththe information channel preference and feedback information channelpreference of archives). These differences and details can be study objectto archivists in their utilization and propagandize work.Different communication channel preference and both positive andnegative communication contents of archival users and archival audiencesin “Cyberspace” are the focus of my paper. By focusing and studying onthese things, my goal is to inspire the archivists to have a deeperunderstanding of archival users’ and archival audiences’ thoughts andmentality, manner and behavior as well as feedback and communication. And let them stand in the archival searchers’ point of view, to think whatthe archival searchers think, urge what the archival searchers urge, providing better service while they need is the target of this thesis.
