In21st century, along with the rapid development of technology,computer andembedded technology are also making great progress and widely applied in our daily life.In various occasions,there are many requirement for real-time information collection andmanagement, video monitoring system is one of the application fields with great market value.moreover,The embedded video monitoring system gradually occupy the mainstream of themarket share for its characteristics flexibility,small,cheap.however,the embedded videosystem also has many issues in detail that waited to be solved to make it more stable andreliable,especially in the process of the wireless network transmission. In this case, it’snecessary to design and develop a reliable network transmission system that can overcomethe instability using a reliable UDP transmission protocol.The system use ARM11hardware platform and embedded Linux as software platform toaccomplish the collection of video data, H264format encoding compression andtransmission,maintaining the balance between Qos and real time video based on the reliableUDP protocol.This paper analyzes the factors affecting the stability of the high-speed electronic system.the signal integrity and power integrity are studied emphatically, and the system hardware issimulated using Cadence SI, Cadence PI in signal and power integrity,solving andimproving the integrity problem of high-speed system.This paper describes the process of building embedded Linux development environmentand a improved UDP protocol based on UDP with reliability that the loss of critical data willbe retransmitted to ensure reliable transmission of video data.and then describesimplementation of the system with the functions below:video acquisition;data compressionin H264format with MFC;reliable transmission using improved UDP protocol;client toreceive and assemble video data;local forwarding with RTP to VLC and then broadcast thevideo.The system is tested to prove its ability and achieve the desired functionality and thedesign goals basically,and have practicability. At the end of the paper summarizes thesystem problems and gives corresponding suggestions for improvement.
