Fire disaster is a threat to public safety, it’s one of the major disasters which harmpeople life and property safety. Our country is medium-term industrialization development,the level of urbanization has entered a stage of rapid development, fire loss also rose sharply,double the average12years. To reduce fire hazards, we must take early detection and putout the fire, even when is about to happen but has not yet occurred early actively takemeasures to prevent it happen. The automatic fire detection especially predicted in advanceis the key to prevent fire. As the city buildings’, factories’ structure and function is more andmore complex, the existing fire detection technology cannot meet the needs of the new firedetection. So the fire monitoring technical level is an urgent need to research anddevelopment to meet the needs of modern urban and industrial and mining enterprises. Thisto safeguard people’s life and property security, to build a harmonious society is of greatsocial significance and economic benefits.The main idea of this project is to have real-time monitoring of fire, and then processthe signals to make the appropriate response actions to prevent the happening of the fire.The system consists of three parts: smart gas monitoring systems, distributed fiber optictemperature monitoring system and infrared thermal imaging temperature monitoringsystem, the communication between the various subsystems and PC software have becomea priority. To communicate more effectively, the software and intelligent gas monitoringsystem uses standard Modbus/485protocol, protocols between the software and distributedfiber optic temperature monitoring system or infrared thermal imaging temperaturemeasurement system will be based on a extension protocol called Modbus-Extended/TCPbased on Modbus/TCP protocol. The software UI has achieved the on-site data collectiondevices to reproduce the form by the graph, and also has achieved the storage in the Access2007database.
