Virtual reality is a high-technology rising in recent years. It uses the computer tobuild a virtual three-dimensional space, simulates the real scene, ultimately gives asense of immersion and mutual inductance. In general, people normally use the3Dgeometry-based modeling techniques to construct a three-dimensional scene, whichhas a good sense of immersion, interaction and certain simulation.However, it still has its limits. In order to maintain the realism of the scene,complex modeling and rendering for the model is necessary, which may cause a lot ofburden to the computer. Therefore, Panorama can be directly used to build scene androam. Due to its image-based feather, although this method eliminates a lot ofcomputer calculation and saves time, its interactivity is not very good. According tothe issues above, this paper adopts a new approach which combining the2Dpanorama based on image with the directly-built three-dimensional scene. In otherwords, it uses the panorama to replace the need for complex modeling and renderingof complex3D scene, but still retains some part of3D model. This approach can notonly reduce the burden of computer, but also maintain the sense of reality, whileretaining a good sense of immersion and interactivity. In the Panorama part, the papermainly studies the stitching-based panorama, generates a detailed study of the keytechnology of panoramic image generation, conducts experiments on differentalgorithms and finally draws conclusions. Firstly, the paper elaborates the method ofcylindrical projection, spherical projection and cubic projection, programs the way ofcylindrical projection, and experimentally compares the size of the cylindricalprojection under different perspectives. Then, the paper uses a surf features based, orbfeatures based and Harris corner features based method to extract feature points, particularly matching via the method of adjacent and purifying via the RANSACmethod, then calculates the spatial transformation model and establishes the spacetransition; Finally, By applying the method of best fusion of sutures for image fusion,the final output effect of panorama is more ideal.After the completion of the panorama generation, it uses3ds max softwareattached to the cylinder model and combines with three-dimensional virtual model ofthe scene, together constitutes the outdoor virtual scene system including sky, grass,clouds, construction, automotive, etc. In the three-dimensional virtual scene system,the paper realizes the loading of the traditional model and the model based on bulletinboard technology. Through the camera system, it implements the multi-view scenebrowsing and roaming, and finally realizes the different ambient light, spray rendering.Its effect goes well and has a certain simulation.
