A large number of data are produced by hospital clinicalactivities.Doctors usually handle these valuable clinical informationmanually. The work has a low efficiency while the error rate is high. Withthe development of information technology, the introduction of thehospital information system will greatly lighten there workload,increase work efficiency. Therefore, the study of clinical datarepository makes sense.Java Platform Enterprise Edition plays animportant role in the development of web applications withsteady performance, good openness and excellent safety. Java PlatformEnterprise Edition has been the best choice of the construction ofhospital information system.So the clinical data repository base onbrowser server for the doctors which was designed by this paper adoptsJava Platform Enterprise Edition.First, this paper carrys out research in the meaning of clinical datarepository construction, research situation at home and abroad andthe feasibility.For the clinical data repository based on electronicmedical record project, on the basis of understanding customersrequirement, the system is divided into several modules accordingto their functions. This article illustrates the whole process ofdevelopment from the demand analysis, the outline design to detaileddesign.The clinical data repository adopts struts2spring and hibernateframework, which provides strong practicality and scalability.With thedesign and development of controller layer business logic layer,data access layer and data persistance layer, this paper expounds howto associate processing logic and view resources with struts2framework,how to map persistent object to relational database with hibernateframework and how to manage the business logic component and the data access layer components with spring framework.The clinical datarepository also use Asynchronous JavaScript and XML to create pageswhich can bring continuous and richr experiences touser.Through the test and performance analysis of the system,this paper prove that the systemsmeet theneeds of users to function,and has good scalability,maintainability and reliability.
