With the rapid development of information technology in medical field, the electronic medical record system will replace the traditional paper-based medical record and becomes the core of hospital information system. Development of electronic medical record system is important content for deepening the reform of public hospitals. Application of the new electronic medical record system helps to improve the quality of medical care and clinical therapeutic effect, reduce the medical errors, improve the work efficiency, facilitate hospitals to proceed data statistics and medical record analysis. Through the medical information sharing function of new electronic medical record system in clinical data center can also support patients to perform continuous medical treatment in different medical institutions.For the traditional paper-based medical record which cannot meet the development of the hospital information system, it’s proposed in this thesis that it’s of great necessity of building a new electronic medical record adopting system integration technology based on the development mode of The117Hospital’s electronic medical record. And it introduces the system constitution, integration methodology of the new electronic medical record and the realization of integrated view, integrated browsing, order entry, subsidiary decision, clinical pathway and other functions. Besides, the actual experience and lesson learn from this system are also introduced, along with the analysis and solutions to the existing problems of the electronic medical record.Finally, the summary and outlook for development trend of electronic medical record system affirm the achievement of construction of new electronic medical record system.
