Design And Implementation Of University Financial Management System Based On J2EE

With the rapid growth of higher education and the increasing scale of colleges anduniversities, the traditional manual bookkeeping and spreadsheet model have been unableto meet the requirements of university management and development. Meanwhile, somecolleges and universities are using financial management software, but its universality isnot strong and it is difficult to upgrade and expand its function. In addition, the presentmanagement software cannot match standards and requirements of various departments,teaching units and personal specific budget. So, it is urgent to design and developuniversity financial management system in order to adapt to the rapid growth of highereducation and improve the management level.First, by analyzing present needs of university financial management system, weknow that it is necessary to develop a set of safe and reliable management system basedon financial services, which can provide data analysis and mining technology and canmeet the needs of different groups of people. Through the analysis of technologicalfeasibility, it is proved that after the system can be developed by using MVC mode on theJ2EE framework, it becomes easy and convenient for users because its development modeis on EJB (JSP+Struts+JavaBean) and its system architecture is on Browser or Server.Second, the overall functional modules of the system are confirmed on the basis ofrequirements analysis, mainly including financial processing sub-module which can workto handle a variety of routine business; faculty wage management sub-module which canhelp staff enquire about their real-time wage and dynamic calculation of their workload;student tuition management sub-module which is available for students to learn about theirstate of payment; financial information inquiry sub-module which can be widely used incollecting, recording and monitoring data and provide proper information not only forusers from different status and class but also for relevant policy and decision-making.Finally, the paper refers to the implementation of every functional sub-module, sumsup advantages and disadvantages of the system and draws the conclusion. Meanwhile, it isexpected in the paper that the system will make a great improvement in function.
