The embroidery machine with cutting function is emerging in recent years in theproduct of the textile industry. The combination of the carbon dioxide laser and the opticalfiber for transmitting carbon dioxide come to be a hot spot in the embroidery machineā€™sdevelopment and manufacture. There is a huge demand for carbon dioxide laser andcarbon dioxide laser power by the embroidery machine with cutting function. A generalcarbon dioxide laser power values500RMB to1000RMB on the market, which make ahuge obstacle for transplanting cutting function to an embroidery machine. On thebackground of this, this paper aim to design a carbon dioxide laser power with highreliability and efficiency. The main contents of this paper contain the following four parts:First, this paper gives an introduction of the theory of generating DC high voltageand the method of generating DC high voltage. On this basis, this paper put forwardpositive or negative way for Cockcroft-Walton voltage doubler rectifier as the method ofgenerating DC high voltage for carbon dioxide laser power considering the feature of laserpower.Second, this paper gives a detail analysis and synthesized comparison of the DC/DCtopology. Then take the voltage-fed full-bridge topology as the topology of the laser powertaking the laser power output feature into account. Then make a detail analysis of themethod for controlling the DC/DC convertor and give the advantages and disadvantagesbetween PFM method, PAM method and PWM method. Hereafter, this paper proposesfour control methods for the laser power.Third, on the basis of AP method for designing high-frequency transformer, thispaper gives a complete design of high-frequency transformer for the laser power.Finally, by making a simulation for Cockcrkft-Walton voltage doubler retifier viaPSIM9.0software, this paper get the relationship between capcity and output voltage.Thengives the optimized proposal for the laser power,and make a designe for the three parts oflaser power,which include the high-voltage PCB,core control PCB,auxiliary powerPCB.then this paper make a completely test for the sample as well as the analysis. at the end of the paper,it proposes the defect of the design before and the following research.
