Confined the factors of urban-rural splitcensus system, farmer’ own economic conditions and the urban policy restrictions, the vastmajority migrant workers have to leave their children in hometown. That the long separationstructural patter between parents and children, creating a large-scale "the county left behindchildren" groups.The thesis focus on the media, principal the reports on Metropolis of the rural left-behindchildren. By studying the various newspaper reports on the children left behind, the paperpoints out the problems and the worth learning aspects. At last, for the propose of improvingrural left-behind children’question, the thesis will propose related suggestions and commentsin communion.The thesis choses "West China City News","Dahe Daily" and "Xin’an Evening News" astarget media, using content analysis and documentary analysis. The author chose244newsreports between2010and2013in the3newspapers as sample to make thorough contentanalysis. During the content analysis, each sample is numbered, according to the statisticalclassification categories and final eventually concluded in each dimension.Through content analysis of every sample, the author dig out many problems in theleft-behind children reports, such as modeling of the content, too fewer news comments andvoluminous reports have deficiency in profound; Irresponsible behavior and shortage ofproblem awareness exist in the media. In the chapter4, the thesis analyzes the reason of theseproblems and propose targeted suggestion form different aspects.
