MOOC means massive open online courses,which is the most popular networkteaching mode in recent years. edX platform is one of the troika of MOOC platform.The paper builds a MOOC interactive platform which is based on open edX plat-form.The platform consists of two systems, one is learning management systemwhich is used mainly for students, the other is course management system which ismainly used for teachers. Students can watch a video course, online testing, onlinediscussions, peer assessment and do other operations on the platform. Teachers canedit and management courses, publishing high-quality courses on the platform. Theresearch of this paper involves MOOC platform analysis,the running mode of MOOCplatform, peer assessment algorithms, peer assessment algorithms,and so on.The requirement analysis of the MOOC interactive platform is presented..Firstly, the MOOC concept and characteristics is presented.Then, The paper gives theapplication scene of this problem,and then analyzed what functions the system shouldcomplete form different roles. Then the performance is analysed in differentways.Finally,the problem the system need to solve is present.The paper analyses the related theory and key technology. First edX platformdepth analysis,First,a depth analysis of the edX platform is present.The system ar-chitecture and technical architecture, the main moudles,the main functions,and theinteraction between the main modules,the API functions of edX platform and how toextend the platform is analyzed.And the the paper describes the peer assessmentproblem,give the peer assessment algorithms, And analyzed and verify the feasibilityof the algorithm. Finally, large-scale file storage elaborated local issues, explainshow to disign MongoDB-based distributed file storage.This paper designs the MOOC platform based on edX platform, and designs theoverall function of the system, the author makes a detailed breaks down of the fun c-tional modules, and design the architecture of the system.And then the paper intro-duce the expansion part of the edX platform,including the functional design and da-tabase design. The paper intorduces the realization of the system from the classes to the overallprocess of the program, and each stage of the program is tested. The system cancomplete a comprehensive open online course processes. The platform can ennsureteachers to publish and manage high-quality online courses, students learnhigh-quality online courses. The effect of flipping the classroom played a certainextent.
