Design And Realization Of Udp Multicast Based MPEG-2Transport Stream Analysis System

As China’s "Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting Coverage NetworkDevelopment Planning" published,the popularization and application of digital TVhas been promoted to a strategic height,China’s terrestrial digital TV will enter theaccelerated and popularization stage. For such a huge digital TV system,ensuring thecorrect transmission of television signals is one of the basic requirements of thesystem. In the process of testing and debugging of digital TV signal, stream analysisdevice plays a central role. MPEG-2/DVB transport stream analysis equipment is anindispensable debugging tools and monitoring instrument on development andoperation of digital video broadcasting system.This paper studies and discusses the design and realization of the udp multicastbased MPEG-2transport stream analysis system. Firstly, TR101290standard，ISO\IEC\IS13818system TS stream syntactic semantic information, PSI syntax andother related standards are studied, and the digital TV stream structuringtransmission UDP multicast communication mode is analyzed. On this basis, themethod of design and implementation of the udp multicast based stream analysissystem is proposed.The realized system has achieved the following functions:(1) receive the IPTSstream from a digital television network ip,and then restore it to the mpeg-2transportstream.(2) use the first,second priority parameter of the TR101290standard todetect the TS flow.(3) statistically analyze the rate of the TS flow and TS packetheader.(4) analyze the basic PSI/SI tables,including PAT、PMT、 CAT and NIT.(5)analyze the SDT and EIT tables.(6) perform the TS stream demultiplexing anddecoding.The testing results on the IP Communication room have shown that theproposed TS analysis system has correctly realized all required functions and canaccurately detect the stream errors. Besides, it has the advantages of simpleoperation.
