Coal mine accidents occur frequently in China, which often causes heavycasualties and economic losses. As a result, study and application of coal mine rescuecapsule is imminent. However, there are still some problems in temperature andhumidity monitoring system in mine refuge chamber. This paper designs atemperature and humidity intelligent monitoring system in mine refuge chamberbased on fuzzy theory and PID control method.According to structure and bulkhead materials of mine refuge chamber, thispaper calculates the heat transfer coefficient, capacity’s heat value, heat load,wet load,amount of refrigerant and dehumidifying agent. At last, cooling and dehumidifyingmeasures is determined.According to principle of cabin temperature and humidity control system, andtaking into account that the rescue persons’number and different physical conditionschange heat and moisture load, this paper establishes mathematical models oftemperature and humidity. Temperature and humidity control system has large timedelay, time-varying, nonlinear and coupling characteristics, so conventional PIDcontroller parameters is bad. This paper introduces fuzzy control theory and designspre-compensation fuzzy decoupling controller, the temperature fuzzy adaptive PIDcontroller and humidity fuzzy controller. Simulate monitoring system with MATLAB.Compared to PID controller, the response speed is increased, and overshoot is reduced.Steady state accuracy and robustness are improved.This paper proposes overall architecture of the system, and choosesSTM32F103ZET6as core processor. Design the temperature and humidity acquisitionmodule (AM2302), LCD module (LCD12864), executing module (PC817optocouplers), fans driver (L298N and FBL-35/24), alarm circuit, minimum systemand hardware anti-jamming measures.This paper conducts a software design based on KEIL uVision4MDK compiler.Design program such as temperature and humidity acquisition modules, LCD modules,PWM, intelligent control method, and software anti-jamming measures. Estimated theremaining amount of refrigerant according to system uptime, and regulated the targettemperature for more rescue time. Set up experimental platform, and the function ofeach module was tested. At last, the paper confirms that the system overall design isreasonable and has good practical value.
