Nowadays there are a lot of environments which need temperature and humidity monitoring have a long-distance from each other. And the traditional fieldbus-based monitoring system for temperature and humidity has the problems of complex wiring and limited transmission distance. And these problems are not adaptive to the unified monitoring temperature and humidity in the condition of spread monitoring places. In the field of communications, Ethernet is booming and extending to every corner of industry and daily life. How to make use of Ethernet to transform the traditional monitoring system for temperature and humidity is the problem will be solved in this thesis.In this design, the actual environment of application is electronic moisture counter, the practical objective of application is real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity, the practical system designed is monitoring system based on single-chip and network, and the final effect desired to achieve is to query information and set actual parameters of temperature and humidity through the web page at any place.The ultimate aim of this thesis is to design and complete a universal platform for monitoring temperature and humidity. The platform can be easily used to develop a parameters monitoring system which has similar functions. The hardware and software of the system have a modular design, so that it is not only improved the clarity of the development and enhanced the versatility and portability of this system. It will be easy to make a new monitoring system to fit different occasions by modifying a little of the design.With the rapid development of the single-chip, computer and the network, remote monitoring system for temperature and humidity is extending in every sphere of your life, such as agriculture, food industry, file management, building management, traffic information management etc. The ultimate objective is to make life smarter and more efficient.The system is easy to be installed. Now this system has begun to be used and obtain good reputation and practical value.
