Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an emerging technology in security field.Combined with computer technology and network technology, RFID plays an important rolein preventing and combating crimes, ensuring information security and life of the people, andminimizing the loss of state property and community property. This thesis mainly aims at thesecurity requirements of access control and localization. This system including three parts:RFID based non-barrier access control subsystem, RFID based regional localizationsubsystem and RFID based access control and localization data management system. Themain researches content are as follows:(1) Based on the studying of existing ways about personnel identification and accesscontrol, the non-barrier access control based on RFID is proposed. The actions at the door aremonitored and gathered by the infrared intrusion detectors, the personnel are identified by theUHF RFID reader at the same time. Warning rule base is established, and the data collection,logical judgment and data transmission are implemented on the embedded developmentsystem. The system implements the non-barrier access controlling and the quickly identifyingrecording.(2) Implement ground monitoring by region using active tags in localization. The regionlocalization method based on RF sensing area coverage and RF packet loss rate are proposed,and the localization subsystem based on RFID is implemented. In the localization system,CC1100is used for the wireless communications module and OK6410embedded system isserving as the base station module. Experimental results show that the localization functionwas good and less delay, and warning quickly for abnormal situation such as personal intrudeillegality region.(3) On the basis of the above researches, the RFID based access control and localizationdata management subsystem is designed and realized. The system connect with the network,and store the in-time data to the database, and calls the access control and localization realdata, then present the diagrammatic forms and images to viewers. The historical data is automatically saved on the disk with a fixed timed basis, which takes a lot of pressure of thedatabase storing a mass of access control real time data and localization data, and meets ahigh real time capability. The system supports real time monitoring and historical data queryand export. The system built an integral exceptional rule base with the access control andlocalization logical process. When an exception occurs, the system warning in time for safetyensures, which enhance the practicality.The testing results show that, the access control and localization monitor managementsystem based on RFID with a low communication fail rate, and a quickly warned response,which reached the target.
