Cement concrete pavement has made a rapid development due to its long useful life, lowmaintenance costs and energy consumption, as well as it is easier to ensure the quality andsources of materials. However, there are still a number of technical issues in the design,construction, maintenance and operation, so early diseases of the road is common where jointfaulting is an important one. In this paper, for the hardware system designed based on cementconcrete pavement joint faulting three-dimensional detection technology, has conductedin-depth research. Research is mainly focused on the system design principles, hardwareselection and connection method, hardware driver circuit design, software design of drivecontrol and GPS serial communication design, etc.In the text, on the basis of in-depth analysis existing cement concrete pavement jointfaulting detection technology, has in-depth discussion which the traditional fractional lasertriangulation method applied of this field in the road testing. On this basis, it has proposedthe most suitable detection scheme for this system, using the linear array laser and CCDcamera detection cement pavement joint faulting. According to this detection scheme, hasdesigned the cement concrete pavement joint faulting hardware detection system, clearedthe function and composition of each module in this system, determined the devices selectionand connections in each module, connected the various devices, built complete hardwaresystem detection platform. Then, with the STC89C52as central processing unit, designedmotor drive control circuit.According to the motor movement process, designed the motordriven lower-position-machine software. It has designed and implemented the communicationbetween upper-position-machine and lower-position-machine and GPS positioning module inVisual Studio2008development environment. Finally, it’s showing the whole process ofoperation the system, and proposing the system operating considerations and the areas forpossible improvement. For practical application and popularization of this system laid thesolid foundation.The design of cement concrete pavement joint faulting three-dimensional hardwaredetection system in this paper, simple structure, high precision, high speed, can achievereal-time online detection. After encapsulation,greatly reduced the system space. Well adaptto the space requirements of the system design. Meantime, for system installation anddebugging bring convenience. Improved the reliability and security of the system.as well asprovides convenience for outdoor mobile operations.
