With the extensive application of cement concrete pavement, there were still series oftechnical issues in the design, construction, maintenance and operation, etc., which madethe early diseases of the road be common. Therefore, the study of cement concretepavement effective detection algorithm to efficiently and accurately obtain pavement featuredata had important value and practical significance. I had done research of domesticdetection algorithm about joint faulting and crack, analysis of existing detection algorithmsand the flaws of the relatively new research results, and established specific researchcontent of this article and the key technology need to be focus on.In this paper, according to the characteristics of3D laser imaging system and cementconcrete pavement, the joint faulting, crack detection algorithm based on the testing data ofthe3D were studied. The joint faulting calculating and crack identification and display werecompleted. Firstly, the algorithm based on biphase standard deviation filtering method andcomposite structural elements of the cascaded morphology filtering method was proposed.Then according to the shape characteristics of joint faulting, an effective calculation methodof the average and the maximum value of faulting based on inflection point was determined.Also, the way of the3D cracks image data was normalized to a two-dimensional gray imagedata was implemented, and the method of target subtraction background in crack imagedenoising was used. Then the local Otsu threshold segmentation method to identify cracksgoals was studied, and realized the cracks post-processing and the display after refinement.For the faulting algorithm in this paper, repeated indoor and outdoor experiments weredeveloped, the results show that the3D detection results was basically agreed with standardruler measuring results, the absolute error of the two methods was basically within3mm,and91%within the2mm. And the algorithm also could give the maximum value of thefaulting, which provided auxiliary information for the study of the relationship betweencement concrete pavement faulting and concrete pavement smoothness, comfort, etc., and classification of faulting, handling of faulting. Also the method research of identificationand extraction of cracks laid the foundation for the subsequent calculation of thecharacteristic parameters.
