Design And Implementation Of Multimedia Classroom And Equipment Management System Of South China University Of Technology

With the development of multimedia technology, network technology, modern educationtechnology and the rapid expansion scale of university education, multimedia teachingmethod is widely used in university, the number of multimedia classroom increase quicklyand therefore the multimedia device maintenance become much harder. For those unlversitywhich implement electrified education early, the structure of device in multimedia classroomis too stable to be modified. It is difficult to manage these equipments scientifically.The maintenance work cost a lot of time and effort, maintainers are busy with low levelwork repeatly, they have no time to analyse the reason of failure and fix it professionally. Sofar, the maintenance and management research is focus on telecontrol multimedia device,manage classrooms and equipments, collect breakdown information and so on. But at last westill need to finish these jobs manually, we can not raise the efficiency easily. It is a nice ideato aim at the daily maintenance workflow, design a management system that can superviseand remind daily business to ease the burden so that we have time to do more research.In this paper we try to analyse the method of equipment management and the dailymaintenance workflow of Educational Technology Center in South China University ofTechnology, to describe actual demand. Secondly, we aim at equipment element and developa system that can solve trivialities such as personal identification, scheduling management,task announcement, duty management, information inquiry, projector maintain management,trace the inventory message and manage multimedia device to improve work efficiency.
