Push forward the development of educational technology and information technology in education, multimedia teaching advanced teaching methods, teaching information, can provide a good learning interface to make classroom teaching more lively, more efficient, has gained popularity in most colleges and universities continuously improve the application with the requirements of the institutions teaching the scale of rapid expansion and modernization of teaching an increasing number of multimedia classrooms in all schools, the geographical distribution of more and more fragmented, making day-to-day maintenance and administration of exceptionally heavy. Therefore, how to use modern techniques to monitor a large number of multimedia classrooms, control, maintenance and management has become an important research topic.Although there is more than the used in colleges and universities multimedia classroom management software and hardware systems, but they are generally concentrated in non-networked controlled and centralized control are two types of TCP/IP-based network-based, both types of softperipherals such as audio and video signal switching equipment, related equipment startup and close the main function of the hardware products to achieve a simple classroom. Equipment fault detection, location, the alarm can not do anything with the machine environment and daily classroom information management shortcomings not in place and quite outstanding. Therefore, the research and development of a perfect fault detection, centralized control and management of multimedia classroom management system has an important significance to alleviate the majority of colleges and universities multimedia classroom management and equipment maintenance is difficult and not standardized information collection and processing, maintaining the status of funding for higher difficulties.Firstly, multimedia technology and multimedia classrooms for theoretical explanations, combined with in-depth analysis and research on which the day-to-day management of the multimedia classroom. Also the C/S technology, TCP/IP data transmission technology, the SQL SERVER database management system and other related technologies for in-depth theoretical analysis-oriented system development and lay a solid foundation. Secondly, from the perspective of software development, system requirements analysis, business process analysis of related modules, and in accordance with the needs and business processes to achieve system function modules and database design.Finally, PowerBuilder distributed computing technology, TCP/IP data transmission technology, and combined with the SQL SERVER2000database, writing procedures to achieve the system’s functional modules.
