Automated fluorescence analyzer is one kind of testing equipments commonly used inclinical. It is a set of optical, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic instrument for clinical diagnosisprovideing scientific data. It generally includes the following sections: sampling processor,manipulator, incubation oscillator, washing machine, fluorescence analyzer. This paper pre-sents a controlling plan using PC+motion control card+ARM, and design various commu-nication protocol between PC and sub-devices. The paper also describes a scheduling systembased on particle swarm optimization. Finally, This paper takes system tests to track the pre-cision of the control system.The results of the paper are as follows:(1) Overview the similar products at home and abroad, combined with automated fluores-cence analyzer control system in functional requirements, and define the topic of the paper..(2) Summarize the detection process of automated fluorescence analyzer. Comparing tothe existing control system in prior product, This paper presents a controlling plan on PC+motion control card+ARM MPU control board. Where the motion control card is responsiblefor the motion control of sampling processor, ARM MPU is responsible for data collectionand so on.(3) Depending on the performance demand of the device, design control board including:main chip circuitry, data acquisition, temperature control, vibration motor drives and otherfunctions.The paper elaborate hardware designs and hardware selection of different sections.(4)Solve the system integration problems: according to characteristics of each sub-device,the paper elaborates the communication protocols between PC and sub-devices, communica-tion protocols include communication processes and data frame structure. Furthermore, thepaper makes some proposal to solve the communication protocol synchronization problem..(5) The process scheduling system is to optimize the experimental procedure providingapplicable interface. Process scheduling system consists of three modules: input processingmodule, optimal scheduling module, interface module. The system has good versatility,this paper introduces scheduling scheme based on particle swarm optimization.
