With the continuous development of information technology, the reform in the field ofeducation reform in our country is gradually in-depth, and the digital campus construction hasbecome a focus of the construction of information technology in domestic and foreign univer-sities and is gradually as one of the university modernization level and university strengthcriteria. Colleges and universities generally use information systems, such as office automa-tion systems, mail systems, teaching on-line system, student management system, financialmanagement systems, collaborative office systems, personnel systems and so on. Usually dueto various historical reasons, there is the overall plan is not rigorous, data conflict and wasteof resources are quite serious. School network center of the room hosting the server is usuallya large number, a lot of server resources not only cause a waste of electricity, increasing thecosts of the school, they did not fully play its role, so the importance of universities server re-source optimization merger obvious.For the current popularity of cloud computing technology, combined with the develop-ment trend of information technology in education, Guangzhou University Digital Campus asthe starting point, cloud computing applied to the digital campus build. Build of Redhat En-terprise Linux-based cloud computing platform, to achieve the goal of integration of compu-ting resources, improve equipment utilization, reduce application complexity, and enhancedsharing capabilities, as well as save energy consumption of storage resources, etc., and ulti-mately makes this basis build digital Campus business applications to run more stable, morereliable, more comprehensive management easier and more flexible and convenient for stu-dents and teachers to provide change on-demand application service. The main work of thispaper is as follows:1、According to the construction of Guangzhou University Digital Campus, we build aprivate cloud which is based on Redhat cloud computing program, Guangzhou UniversityDigital Campus, strongly support the operation of the Guangzhou University teaching, re-search and management; 2、Based on the study of virtualization, dynamic migration, cloud storage technology, thepaper put forward a corresponding strategy to support this project in practical applications;3、To solve the load balancing problem in the system, the paper on the basis of the ex-isting cloud platforms to improve optimization, a certain degree of improvement in the per-formance of the system.
