The Design And Implementation Of System Testing Of Iub Interface Protocol Analyzer

As China's first communications technology standards with independent intellectual property rights, as one of mainstream standards of the third-generation mobile communications system, TD-SCDMA gains the country's strong support, catches the close attention of the global research academician, mobile communication manufacturers and great number of customers. And it has broad prospects for development. With the completing of TD-SCDMA system's commercial network, large-scale 3G network is to be built throughout the country. As an important support network technology, the development of testing equipments is very important, of course, the quality of the testing equipment itself must also be guaranteed well.Iub interface protocol analyzer is a protocol analysis system used for Iub interface in TD-SCDMA system. It supports monitoring the Iub interface signal and business data, supports staff off-line analysis, and other functions. In order to ensure the quality and reliability of Iuban, to make sure the testing equipment can really meet the needs of supporting the development, operation, maintenance and testing for the communications equipment, it is very essential to test the protocol analyzer. System testing is a very important testing phrase in the whole project's testing. With reasonable designed and effective system testing, the quality of Iuban system's function, performance and reliability can be ensured. Besides, it can also help shorten the production cycle of the entire project. At the same time, as an important pillar supporting a network, the similar protocol analyzer equipments in the TD-SCDMA system are of a large number. In this sense, the testing method research for Iuban system is important and universal, very meaningful.This paper discussed the system testing of the Iub interface protocol analyzer in the order of testing needs analysis, system testing design, and system testing implementation. The paper gave a brief introduction for Iub interface itself and Iub interface protocol analyzer first, and then carried out a detailed analysis for system testing points of Iuban. Based on this and the study on various software testing methods, the system testing plan and testing scheme which meet the whole project's progress were designed.When designed the testing process, a testing phrase was inserted into the general process, executed after the testing version was built, but before the whole system testing phrase. This is to enhance the efficiency of the test and save time for the whole testing. At the end of this paper, the result was showing that depending on the analyzied testing requirement points and the reasonable testing design, the system testing of Iuban was successfully implemented, verifing the prctical application effect of the testing scheme.
