Research On The Durability Testing System For Gas-fired Heating And Hot Water Combi-boilers Based On ARM

Durability is an important performance indicator of Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers. It’s the basis of reliability. In the process of durability test (aging test), It’s easy to find products’ weak-line by monitoring their performance indicators, what demonstrate direction in elevating the products’design, manufacturing, technics and maintenance optimization. With the background of the situation, according to the aging characteristics gathering in the Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers operation’s process, this paper put emphasis on the research of durability test, at the same time we have developed durability testing system for Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers based on ARM and IPC.First, the paper focus on the research about method of reliability test, and the scheme of durability test for Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers. Then, aging testing system was developed by the scheme.The durability test system for Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers is divided into three levels:the monitoring center, the acquisition layer and the communication layer. IPC plays the role of monitoring center with the interactive interface; in addition, it is also responsible for the data management of the testing system. Data acquisition layer includes data acquisition card, sensors, electro-magnetic valves, flow switches, etc., and the data acquisition card is the center of this layer. Communication layer is consisted by network switch and twisted-pair to achieve the data exchange between monitoring center and data acquisition layer. For the aging test system of Gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers, the paper focuses on the design of data acquisition system based on ARM and Linux operating system, including both hardware and software, the design of IPC monitoring system and data acquisition system and the means of communication—TCP socket.
