With the development of computer technology, communication technology andnetwork technology, the automatic office system is becoming more and morepopular. However, the system maintaining is often difficult, in the process ofimplementing office automation system, updating the system is difficult to do withthe actual changing of business process synchronously. In order to make automaticoffice system normal and orderly running, and to allow communication between theuser and the system becomes more simple and convenient, designing a goodscalability, maintainability and adaptability automatic office systems is necessary.The issue is the design and implementation automatic office system of JiangxiCopper Company Limited Education and Training Center. The current status oftechnology in the development of office system and workflow is researching, anoffice automation system solutions based on Microsoft Windows WorkflowFoundation (WF) engine technology is proposed and implemented. The mainfeatures of the system are: the system’s business processes is separated from thesystems, the user can custom made and updating the business process model byconfiguration software according to their own needs. The system has goodscalability, maintainability and adaptability.Firstly, this paper analyzes the system requirement, then in-depth study of theMicrosoft WF workflow technology. According to the user’s actual needs, decidesadopt the B/S model and three layer architecture to realize the office system, thesystem is divided into the data layer, business logic layer and presentation layer, thesystem has a good security and maintenance. On this basis, designs the systemdatabase and introduces the several database design. Then according to therequirements of the business process in the office system, designs five Microsoft WFcustom activities related to business process, and through carrying Microsoft WFworkflow designer to design a visual workflow editor to achieve the design goals ofbusiness process and system of phase separation.Finally, under NET developmentplatform using C#as the development language, Visual Studio2008as adevelopment tool, SQL Server2005as the background database development toachieve a system. The automatic office system has been passed test, achieve the functionalrequirements analysis and design, improve the traditional office model, improvework efficiency, reduce the cost of office, get a good evaluation of faculty member.
