In recent years, with the rapid development of3G/4G network, the fixed andmobile network has been undergoing a fast integration. As a result, the mobile terminalwith intelligent operating system is replacing personal computer gradually and turningout to be an important tool for mobile office. Android system, developed by Googlebased on the open source system Linux, has many multiple functions and greatextensibility. It cannot be applied for personal use but also for industrial equipment faultdiagnosis, which means a broad prospects for future development.With the increasingly expanding modern industrial system, the cooperationbetween various parts in the system also turns to be complicated day by day. Once oneof them goes wrong, the whole system cannot be work properly. As for those large-scalecomplicated industrial system, people are desired to obtain the real time industrial dataon industrial field. In order to make the changes of data available to the users of mobileintelligent device, forecast the equipment failure and reduce the loss done by themachines’ going down and damages, the research on development of data transmissiononAndroid industrial field was proposed.The Android industrial field platform for sending and receiving data consists oftwo platforms, namely, the one of data simulation, generation and sending for PC andthe one of data receiving and presentation for Android. PC platform is mainly applied tosimulate and generate the data of working condition on industrial field equipment. Thenit will transmit the data to Android platform. Finally it will verify the capability onreceiving and presenting data ofAndroid.This dissertation makes a deep analysis on the research and development procedureof platform of sending and receiving data on Android’s industrial field data, carries aresearch on the key problems that may take place in this process. First, a briefintroduction was given on the related theories and technologies of platformdevelopment. Second, a research was conducted on the key problems taking place in thedevelopment process. Third, the general and module designs were provided. Finally, adetailed analysis was made based on the experiment results.
