Most of engine general capability testing is made in test-bed (engine testing room). Getting capability testing data is mainly through simulation meters and manual reading. If testing the data of engines fitted in vehicles, workers have to disconnect the engine from vehicle and install it on the test-bed first, then test the capability parameters of the engine. Like that, it must increase manpower and material resources. If designing an equipment to test the engine on line, it will escape the bother of installing and unloading the engine again and again, at the same time, it will save much time and reduce manpower and material resources.In the process of testing engine, there are too many parameters, because of too many down-leads which will bring increase in testing cost and difficulty in anti-jamming. Especially fieldwork, the down-leads will bring more difficulties. However, the fast development of wireless communication technology makes the testing parameters transmitting to be easy.Aiming at narration above, author designed a wireless sending and receiving system based on the HAV-uM module and MM0024 data collecting module. The system mainly includes photoelectricity rotate speed detector-MM0024, transmitting module wirelessly HAC-uM, MCU based on single computer ATmega8, display module based on ZLG7289 and power module etc. The system detects the rotate speed signals by MM0024, and sends the signals which are changed into impulse ones to CMOS chip ATmega8, and counts the signals by interrupt and timing to get exact data. The data are sent by transmitter of HAC-uM wireless module and received by receiver. The data are also changed into PWM impulse signals and displayed by computer. The system adopts display module which is made of ZLG7289 CMOS chip. Accordingly, the system can finish transmitting and receiving data wirelessly, it also can be used to detect and display data at long bowls.Taking the engine rotate speed signal for example, the article introduces a method to transmitting and receiving engine parameters. After validating through experiments, it is easy and convenient to test and transfer engine parameters by the method. The data are exact and timely, the circuit comes true easily, the thought is clear. The system also saves a great of down-leads. So it provides an easy an effective blue print for the engine parameters testing.
