Sports news is one of the important position and channel news media of ourculture, in the promotion of China’s cultural soft power in the process, is shoulderingthe important responsibility and obligation. Comparison of Chinese and Englishculture and sports culture to seek the differences between the culture, and thecultural differences between Chinese and English reports specific effect on allaspects of the sports news and performance analysis, the influence of Englishdifferences of sports news reports not only superficial, but in-depth reports of sportsnews aspects.In this paper, by comparing the China and British newspapers in the mostauthoritative, the most representative of the "people’s Daily" and "the times" on the30London Olympic coverage, using the content analysis method, to explore thepapers on sports news frame, from the report way, reporting content, cleardifferences two mainstream newspapers in the frame of the international event mediareality and the reasons to cause the differences. Identify different system ofnewspaper media in different reports on the same event on the cultural differencesbetween the two countries, in different countries, different system of mediaembodied in the sports news.
