With the rapid development of the information technology industry, has broughta revolutionary change in the affairs of the enterprises many of the traditional meansof management. Fixed assets is the production and operation of labor, accounting forthe vast majority of the total assets of the enterprise, is the major means of productioncan not be replaced by any assets. The safety of fixed assets, integrity is veryimportant for an enterprise to strengthen the management of the enterprise fixed assetsis very important. Therefore, the use of information technology means to managefixed assets, enterprises towards information management a key step. This project to meet the needs of corporate fixed assets management, combinedwith the actual situation of the enterprise, the use of modern network and databasetechnology, design and development of a fixed asset bar code management system. The use of object-oriented programming ideas to the topic, the use of the MicrosoftCorporation. NET development platform, based on the client/server model, with theVB language, background database using SQL Server database platform fordevelopers. In the system development process, I combined their knowledge usingVisual Studio2005visual programming tools, detailed system requirements analysis, detailed design and system testing to achieve the desired design objectives. The subject of fixed assets barcode management system, to achieve a fixed assetinformation query, browse, edit, delete, and statistical functions and features of thesystem is the use of bar codes to manage the fixed assets in the formulation of thefixed asset tag, fill good improvement, avoid errors and time-consuming manualoperation and record data, print, paste, asset status tracking, inventory, such as thenature of the work and the workload. I believe the system can better regulatecorporate fixed assets management system and processes to achieve effectiveutilization of fixed assets, improve the efficiency of the management of the enterprisemanagement level towards a new level.
