Web Database Technology, Applied Research, In Cementing The Information Management System

For Web's capability of easy-to-use and practicability,it has become the technology which transmit information in varieties of domain.But Internet only offers us the information platform. With the development of the Internet technology,we are not contented with getting static information from Web browser,we use it to deliver our opinion and get the data stored in the remote sever .This urge the development of Web into which we integrated database.Then the web database emerged as the times require.In this paper,aiming at the development of Dagang oil-field Well Cementation Information Management System,I systemically research and discuss some Web database technology including the systemic architecture, visiting technology, security mechanism etc.This paper elaborates the evolution and trend of Web database system, analyses the compose theory of C/S , B/S, multilayer B/S structure and compares their relative merits.Then, combining with the project, winnowing their virtues and avoiding their defects,I make a mixed mode of B/S and C/S to exploit this system.Through analyzing and comparing many kinds of Web database visiting technology,such as CGI, WebAPI, PHP, JSP, ASP etc, the technical proposal based upon ASP is adopted in the systemic development.The technical proposal uses Web database joint technology ASP+ADO /ODBC to realize Web database visiting and application programme.This paper also simply discusses the safety problems which should be given enough attention during the development of Web database system.In addition,the SQL Sever, MySq1 and Oracle network database are analysed in this paper , SQL Sever 2000 being adopted as the system service ware's background database. Finally,I devise and exploit Dagang oil field Well Cementation Information Management System based on the upward researches,and find a sort of solution about the conversion from Access database to SQL Sever database.
