The science and technology are exerting an imperceptible influence on the world.One-dimensional barcode and two-dimensional barcode becomes more and more perfect with a rapid development since the 21 st century.It has been integrated into our lives and spread to every corner.You can find it everywhere after careful observation and precise thinking.It is important to how to manage the warehouse to most of manufacturing enterprises.This article first introduces the history of bar code and elaborates on the features and advantages to some extent,and then puts forward a concept of multi-warehouse management system based on barcode,which is modernization,informationization and automation,through analysis of the existing mode of warehouse management and combine with the actual situation.The system contains not only the finished product warehouse but also the raw materials warehouse of purchasing department and the warehouse of production line.It can help enterprise to unified manage the warehouse include procuring raw materials,design,processing,production,and sale the finished product.Through the feasibility analysis,this system used Client-Server Architecture,selected Microsoft Visual Studio,Expression Blend,SQL Server and the Bartender as the development platform,C# as the programming language and WPF as the graphics framework,based on this,completed the system requirements analysis and the general function design,then the software management module,label printing module,warehouse module,PDA module and interface module was described in detail.At present the system has been online successful.After beta testing,this system has the good application value and the economic value,has achieved the anticipated target.The people who used this system put forward some view points for improving it and there is even more space for improving.
