The system was designed to meet the requirement of "Duty-Free and Guard-Free "operation management for high speed railway traction substation, to improve the high speed railway traction substation monitoring mode, and to enhance the system function of real-time digital equipments supervision, early safety warning and accident retrospective. The system consisted of environment data collection managers, video servers, control servers and clients.Based on distributed design ideas, the software system was described and modeled object-oriented by cross-platform QT language and UML. Middleware technique was used to realize the interfaces protocol among the parts in the system. The thesis elaborated the purpose and significances of the research, and analyzed the necessity of the high speed railway traction environment intelligent monitoring system. According to the railway technical specifications, the study fulfilled S lectotype and design for system hardware based on the improved monitoring indicators. The monitoring system architecture was designed and the environment intelligent monitoring solution with the advantages of HD intelligent multistage monitoring, multi-redundancy, compatible with protocol and flexible configuration was proposed according to the key contents and work requirements of railway environment monitoring. IEC60870-5-14protocol was used for data transmission in data collection equipments, which improved the interface commonality and real-time quality for uplink data transmission. The middleware technique between the client and the server solved the problem of the random client cluster by dispatch center, which could flexible grouped the clients. The system intelligent linkage scheme could achieve accident fast early warn and auto handling, which could solve the problems before the accident to ensure the safety of the high speed railway power supply environment on operation.
