In recent years, with the expansion of the continuous development and applicationof information technology, the catering industry comes out many electronic orderingsystem rely on information platform, the intelligent terminal, or the mobile technology.These kinds of convenient catering service system gradually accept by diningcustomers and the electronic ordering system constantly improved by this trend.In this paper, the nutritional ordering system takes the advantages on the basis ofthe existing ordering system with the concept of diet and build in our campusrestaurant.This is a relatively new pattern nutrition ordering system. After the analysis of foodnutrition data in the earlier development stage and start to studied from the aspects offood and nutrition data acquisition, calculation and forming a dish nutrition database;studied from the basic system using object to analysis of the main business process ofnutritional ordering system and according to the function demand from hardware,software modules and database. The system design accordance with the UML processultimately form a nutritional ordering system based on iOS platform. The systemprovides the traditional order, package order, nutrition and other functions, but also hasa display of food ingredients, production processes, nutrient data and other specialinformation function. The customer may the very convenient to use this system to orderby using the iPad mobile terminal equipment as the system ordering front-endequipment. This system will be printed order menu information in time for the customerto the bar and kitchen through wireless network, timely response to order dishes, adddishes and billing or other information. It greatly enhances the user experience andimproves the efficiency of food and beverage service, it also can popularization thediners to scientific diet knowledge as well.The system is currently trial in the school conference restaurant, there are manyneeds to improve and expand. It can be predicted, this kind of system will be appliedin health and nutrition of food enterprises.
