The Design And Implementation Of Health Care For Elderly People Based On Android

With the rapid development of our economy and the improvement of living standards, China’s population aging trend is increasingly obvious. Along with the age increasing, quality and physiological function of body will gradually become weak, the elderly will gradually develop a variety of diseases, their action will become inconvenience. At the same time, because now most family is the one-child families, the children’s job is busy, time and energy is limited, so Empty nesters phenomenon occurs in the community. Once an accident takes place when the old man is alone at home, if there is lack of timely rescue, the consequences will be unimaginable. In view of the above reasons, the guardianship of the elderly has become one of the problems to be solved.This paper presents a software platform for the health care system for the elderly based on Android, which is the realization of remote real-time health care for the elderly. Position information, the surface temperature information and acceleration information collected by the receiving system of the wireless sensor nodes. Through the data analysis, the system gives the elderly health quality report. If unexpected events occur among the elderly, such as falls, the system will automatically send SMS and email notifications to the emergency contacts.This paper focuses on the following aspects:(1) Building the health care system software development environment which is for elderly people living alone:Android environment variable settings, JDK, Downloading and installing the ADT. Design Coordinator and Monitoring terminal data communication protocols.(2) Design and Implementation of the elderly care system terminal software is completed, which Includes software system login screen. And the functional interface software system includes mailbox settings, SMS settings, user management, daily events, data monitoring, threshold setting, physical condition, etc.(3) Completing the elderly care system data analysis. Through a variety of sensor signals uninterrupted collection and analysis, dynamic statements about health emergencies of elderly, sleep quality and other conditions will be given.After testing the system, this paper designs Android-based health care software system for the elderly living alone, it has high reliability on monitoring the state of life of the elderly, it will create a safe living environment for elderly people living alone.
