The Impact Of Archive Carriers’Evolution On Archival Information Dissemination

Starting from archive carriers, this paper analyzed the influence of different archivecarriers on the archival information dissemination. Influenced by politics, economy, cultureand technology, the archive carrier has undergone two major changes, resulting to afundamental change in archival information dissemination. This paper systematicallydescribed the evolution process of archive carriers and involved communication theories.Specifically, the development of archive carrier has three stages: traditional archives period,paper archives period and new archive carrier period. The author then explored the impact ofeach stage on archival information dissemination. Carrier is regarded as a media, and differentmedia have different effects on the dissemination of information. This paper primarilyfocused on analyzing the different communication effects resulting from different media.Combined the different developing stages of the archive carrier with some relevant factors inarchival information dissemination, and supported by communication theories, this paperanalyzed archive carriers’ influence on archival information dissemination in detail.Based on archive carriers, this article has drawn on existing research of related fields andexplored the impact of archive carriers on archival information dissemination. The paper isorganized as follows: the first part is the introduction; second part is the development historyof archive carriers; third is an overview of archive dissemination; fourth is the carriers’influence on archival information dissemination; the final part summarizes the whole paperand explores the trend of the impact of archive carriers’ development on archival informationdissemination.
