As a special cultural groups, college student is the multi-faceted presence, which containsrich deposits of news media, and is one of the most important object of report. With thepopularity of China’s higher education and the development of China’s market economy, themystery of college student faded from "emperor pride" to the “ordinary social workers” andeven to “social assistance objects”, and the public attitude on college student has tremendouschanges too.During this process, the media play an important role for the formation of socialvalues and ideologies construct.So as a young wizard in China, how "China Youth Daily" with college students reported?This study uses mainly content analysis, combining quantitative analysis with qualitativeanalysis, including a lot of empirical methods. It reflects in three aspects:(a) the main featuresof the China Youth Daily Students reported;(b) the problem analysis of the China Youth Dailycollege student report;(c) suggestions of improvement for China Youth Daily college studentreport.Hoping to tap the characteristics of China Youth Daily college students report, andprovide a reference sample for the development of college students report, while throughprovide suggestions for the problem of the China Youth Daily college student report, we hopecould have a big improvement on the road to guide the China Youth.
