Youth And The Country: A Report Of The "China Youth Daily" And "Two Sessions" (1998-2014)

The situation of the China Youth Daily is to promote the development of the society and serving the youth growth. Since 1951, it has become an important newspaper which focuses on the guidance of the youth and the development of the country after more than half a century of baptisms. With the development of media technologies and the changing of the political environment, China Youth Daily constantly improves the political communication method of report about NPC and CPPCC and acquires the positive identification of the youth. Except large numbers of good news reports, China Youth Daily uses political communication methods efficiently and forms unique reporting style on NPC and CPPCC. It provides valuable experience of political communication exploration about NPC and CPPCC for the majority of the news media.This paper shows the report of NPC and CPPCC in the China Youth Daily from 1998 to 2014 and focuses on the analysis of the communication methods in political communication, political persuasion and political leading. Then the paper puts forward some views in order to promote political socialization of the youth and explore the new way of political communication. It hopes to enlighten NPC and CPPCC reports in the future.
