| SI-TECH has analyzed and researched Online Charging System (OCS) for five years, and their OCS products have been developing in these 5 years, moving from the library to practical use and occupying an important share of the domestic telecommunication market. At present, the OCS design v2.5 from SI-TECH is the latest official commercial version, which is playing a key role in Support System of domestic main telecom operators like China Mobile and China Unicom. In order to keep the applicability and advancement, SI-TECH development team sum up problems they have met in the R&D development and optimize and adjust the systematic system, and constantly improve and upgrade the system design on the basis of this version. The new system architecture design will more practically meet operators’business demand, which make the OCS can reuse the products from different product lines faster and keep the competitive advantage in the market.This paper discuss the development and present situation of agreement making, software design, system application and physical deployment about OCS between domestic telecom operators and integrators, compare the related rules of 3GPP with the related rules of OCS that telecom operators made, introduce the understanding of SI-TECH for OCS, analyze the key point and technical problems in the system design, present the software design of OCS and application Architecture design, and propose the design idea of hierarchical ICT system and the achieve idea of distributed billing system. |
